I love tapestry cushions

I've long loved and collected tapestries, but recently I've started to make them up into cushions. They make fabulous cushions, and are very warm and welcoming. I'm particularly pleased with these, as I'd had the tapestries themselves for years but had never got around to making them up. I've also raided my stash of fabrics for a fabric I've loved for a long time, but have not wanted to cut into. I'm so pleased I did.

I also finished this one last night, very different, but again a very cosy and welcoming tapestry...

Thank you for stopping by. I'd love to find a few new blogs out there - please do leave a comment and say hello if you pop by regularly and follow the link and find you.

I love tapestry too!
I've got one or two 'UFO's' that I really must get down to finishing too.
Love the cushions you have made.

Hi there,

I LOVE the blue tapestry cushion - it's so adorable. And such a good idea to turn tapestries into cushions!

Do pop over to my blog if you get a minute!

They are charming, and make me realise that I have two unfinished tapestries in a cupboard......

These are lovely! My mum used to make and sell tapestry cushions in the '70s so the idea really takes me back. I think that the horror of having a muddy dog and two teenaged sons is going to keep me with washable cushion covers for a bit longer, though!

These are lovely cushions - I have several to make up - I really should get round to it - I've had some for 20 years unfinished!
