Memories of summer

I love the run up to Christmas. I really do.

But the darkness of the evenings, and the early time it's hitting is really getting me down, more so than ever before for some reason.

So I wanted to remind myself of the lovely day I spent at the lavender farm this summer.

Now that was truly blissful.

I think I'm a summer gal at heart. : )

Lovely photo's, think I said that last time!!! For some reason I'm the same this year, I love Autumn & Winter but not this year. I've felt really bad tempered ever since the clocks went back, I just don't want to leave the house :(
Hope it'll pass soon :)

Those are zonderful photos. I find I'm struggling with seeing all the spring pics our Antipodean friends are posting at the moment.

Oh, the lavender fields are beautiful! I love the photos! I am sad because I heard our local lavender farm is moving to another state, but they are leaving their fields here, but I don't think they'll have their tours and stuff. Maybe I can go take some photos sometime!

Thansk for your kind comment on my blog. I hope you return when its all a bit happier! I love the fabric you found at Ikea. I have to go to Birmingham on friday, might juts need a loo break somewhere near Ikea and let some jump into my arms!

I'm a summer gal too - I never would have said that but the summers seem so short and it's hateful to think of all the cold and dark we've ahead. Love the cheery pictures of summer though.
