Fun in the holidays and Cath Kidston finds

Well, the holidays continue to be great fun. The last couple of days we've had this little fellow staying, who has been much loved and well walked...

We've also done some more swimming...

And I've got a couple more orders off in the post - thank you so much, and I hope you are happy with them:

I had a wonderful time at the car boot last Sunday, when I found some Cath Kidston...

This:

And this:

A beautiful wallet, which I just wouldn't have been able to ever afford (or at least justify buying for my own use!):

As well as this:

And a few more gorgoeous bits and pieces including a fabulous Cath Kidston rug, which my children instantly added toys to:

I was so incredibly excited to find these things, as you can probably guess.

What else. Well, I've taught my 11 year old to do some simple patchwork, and that's been fun as she enjoys playing with fabric so much. She's better than me:
Hers:

Mine:

I love the holidays! What are you all up to?

Oh, well done - the doggie, the finds, the patchwork... All lovely.

I have a 'what I've been doing on my holidays' post on my blog at the moment, but let's just say that it's been a surprisingly home-based week!

However did you find CK stuff at a boot sale?! I've only seen one rosali cushion once (and the seller wanted £10 for it so I didn't buy it!). That patchwork is lovely, I must have a go at the crazy type :)

Makes me want to go out to a car boot sale Immediately! and try my luck too.
It's been so long since I last thrifted at one - tend to use charity shops more lately.

Hello lovely!

I just thought they were lovely....sometimes something she does just catches my eye...who am i kidding, its most of the time...LOL!
The bag is well made nad is currently holding a very heavy quilt successfully.....its a very pretty design...:>)
I think the shoe bag is very well priced at £4......could be used for lots of things, apart from shoes....
I'm miffed tho, my lovely slippers from her are cream crackered!
All worn away....
STILL.......most places you shop in can be like that....nothing lasts forever....

Glad you got in...xxx

You were so lucky finding all those CK bits at the boot sale, I don't think I have ever found any CK at a boot sale. Your blog is lovely and the picture of the little dog is so cute.
